Hello, welcome to my blog. I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in the statistics department of the University of South Florida. My research fields mainly include the design of experiments, compressive sensing, functional data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. My daily work as a research assistant is to employ machine learning and deep learning to assist physicists, biologists, and medical scientists in analyzing the data either from physical experiments such as spectrum data or from U.S. Food and Drug Administration so that scientists can further understand the underlying mechanism behind them.
